the Daffodil Family has achieved during the last couple of months.

Daffodil Alumni North American Reunion 2019 held in New York
Daffodil Alumni North American Reunion 2019 was held in New York in the USA on july 15, 2019 through the river cruise started from Sky Port Marina by ‘The Empire Cruise’ towards the Statue of Liberty with the Daffodil Alumni. The Alumni got the opportunity to recollect their memories, exchanging and sharing views and would join fun and cultural events. The river cruise turned into a great gathering of Daffodillians coming from different part of North America.
Around 60 thousand Daffodil Alumni are staying in different countries of the world including Bangladesh holding potential, pride and key positions.

COUNTRY DIRECTOR OF ADB, BANGLADESH HAS VISITED BSDI
On 23rd july 2019, the Honorable Country Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Mr. Manmohan Parkash has visited BSDI for BWCCI-SEIP project along with the High officials of ADB and BWCCI. During his visit, he sat for a meeting with BSDI and BWCCI officials and exchanged views with the project team. He has also shared the success stories of different countries of the world.

Non-Resident Daffodil Alumni Reunion 2019 held in Toronto, Canada
Non-Resident Daffodil Alumni Reunion 2019 was held on july 29, 2019 at Ghoroaa Classic, Banquet Hall in Toronto, Canada. Ms. Doly Begum, MPP, Scarborough Southwest graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family presided over the program while Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer and other high officials of Daffodil Family were present in the program.

Inter-departmental Math Olympiad-2019’ held at DIU
Department of General Educational Development (GED) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized ‘DIU Inter-departmental Math Olympiad-2019’ on 25 july 2019 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Mr. Munir Hasan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Math Olympiad Committee distributed prizes among 25 winners in the prize giving ceremony as the chief guest.

DIIT 15th Batch celebrated Rag Day
A delightful rag day has been celebrated by the students if the department of CSE and BBA at their own premises on 22nd june, 2019. Mr. Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain, Principal, DIIT delivered his inspiring speech for the upcoming graduates, in presence of all the faculty members of the institution. He encouraged the students to go ahead with their dream, what they dreamed tobe achieved.

Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University organized ‘DIU MCT Career Expo-2019’ on 22 june 2019 at University Premises. Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Information inaugurated the expo as the chief guest in the morning at 71 Milonayoton of the university.

Eid is a religious festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love. DIS-EV has celebrated Eid Reunion Party on 20th june,2019 in school auditorium. Dr Md Mahmudul Hassan, Principal DIS inaugurated the day as well as cut the cake along with lovely students.

On 30th june 2019, Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized a special event “Culinary Skill Competition” for the female trainees of BWCCI-SEIP initiative for Entrepreneurs Development project at Bangladesh Skill Development Institute at its country Headquarter at Agargaon.

DPI has participated in National level skills competition 2018
Skills competition 2018 held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on 16th june 2019. Total 52 projects have been showcased in the competition, brought from different polytechnic Institutes, countrywide. Only the winners at the regional level competitions took part in the competitions.

ANNUAL REPORT CARD DISTRIBUTED AT DIS
The Report Card Day for 2018-19 final term examination of DIS EM Dhanmondi was held at DIS permanent campus in Dhanmondi. A large turnout of students with their parents were seen. Parents went home with joyous mood believing in DIS' quality service for a better tomorrow for their children.
