Daffodil Alumni North American Reunion 2019 held in New York

Daffodil Alumni North American Reunion 2019 was held in New York in the USA on july 15, 2019 through the river cruise started from Sky Port Marina by ‘The Empire Cruise’ towards the Statue of Liberty with the Daffodil Alumni. The Alumni got the opportunity to recollect their memories, exchanging and sharing views and would join fun and cultural events. The river cruise turned into a great gathering of Daffodillians coming from different part of North America. Around 60 thousand Daffodil Alumni are staying in different countries of the world including Bangladesh holding potential, pride and key positions.

COUNTRY DIRECTOR OF ADB, BANGLADESH HAS VISITED BSDI

On 23rd july 2019, the Honorable Country Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Mr. Manmohan Parkash has visited BSDI for BWCCI-SEIP project along with the High officials of ADB and BWCCI. During his visit, he sat for a meeting with BSDI and BWCCI officials and exchanged views with the project team. He has also shared the success stories of different countries of the world.

Non-Resident Daffodil Alumni Reunion 2019 was held on july 29, 2019 at Ghoroaa Classic, Banquet Hall in Toronto, Canada. Ms. Doly Begum, MPP, Scarborough Southwest graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family presided over the program while Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer and other high officials of Daffodil Family were present in the program.

Inter-departmental Math Olympiad-2019’ held at DIU

Department of General Educational Development (GED) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized ‘DIU Inter-departmental Math Olympiad-2019’ on 25 july 2019 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Mr. Munir Hasan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Math Olympiad Committee distributed prizes among 25 winners in the prize giving ceremony as the chief guest.
