DIIT topped ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Programming Contest -2019
The programming team of DIIT achieved the 1st position among the institutes under National University in International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asian Dhaka Regional programming contest- 2019 on 16th November 2019. Mr. Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain, Principal of DIIT congratulated the team, comprising Md. Asif Joarder & Appel Mahmud on this achievement. The Principal said that it is one of the glorious achievements of DIIT.

NEW OPPORTUNITY HAS OPENED IN HIGHER EDUCATION AND JOB PLACEMENT FOR BSDI STUDENTS IN SWITZERLAND
On 26 November Bangladesh Skill Development Institute and Switzerland based Swiss IM&H Institute has signed an MoU in the presence of the High Official of both the institutions. Through this partnership, both institutes will work together to exchange students and also, the students of BSDI will get the opportunity for higher study and also get the paid internship facilities in the swiss hotels.

'Student-Alumni Congress-2019' of DIA
'Student-Alumni Congress-2019' of Daffodil International Academy (DIA) was held on 16th November 2019 for the 2nd time ever of its kind at Bijoy Milonayoton, 19/1, Panthapath (DIA Campus). The program was organized by the Students where 300+ alumni and a good number of ex-teachers and ex-employees attended the auspicious event.

Parents Meeting held in DIIT Chattogram
Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram organized a meeting with the teachers and parents of the students to broaden the bridge between parents and the Institute on 2nd November 2019. The meeting also included issues like: improve class attendance, proper monitoring of progress of study and the way to achieve better academic excellence in the future.

DIPTI Completed CompTIA A+ and Networking Training for AITSO Members
Daffodil International Professional Training Institute (DIPTI) has successfully completed a very special training session forArmy Information Technology Support Organizations (AITSO) members and the Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on November 14, 2019. The High Officials of Bangladesh Army and DIPTI along with Mr. Rathindranath Das were present during the awarding session. The AITSO members expressed gratitude and satisfaction on the training quality.

Daffodil International School and Daffodil My e-Kids held Champion in high school category in the “ICT Carnival 2019” on October 26, 2019. The competition was held at Daffodil International University, Ashulia campus and was organized by Daffodil Family.

DIIT ORGANIZED INDUSTRIAL TOUR in CHATTAGRAM for DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL CHATTOGRAM
Daffodil Institute of IT organized a day long Industrial Tour to Power Grid Company of Bangladesh, Chattogram on 1st November 2019 for its 7th Semester students of Electrical Engineering department. The tour headed by Mohammad Mahmudul Hossain and Md. Akramul Islam, Instructors of Electrical Department.

Experiment with Microscope in DIS
A great session was held on November 21, 2019 by Onubikkhon.com in Daffodil International School campus with much curiosity among the students. They were introduced to a high-tech microscope with the lens of 140x zoom, which helped them examine various samples intensely. They explored microscopic organelles and experienced the new dimensional aspect of technology in a unique way.

Annual Karate Tournament 2019 in Daffodil International School- English Version took place on 27 October, 2019. The convener of the event was Mr. Monir was the convener the tournament and it took a festive mode with the presence of Honorable Chairman Mr. Md. With the title on ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ the African Students’ Conference of Dhaka, Bangladesh was held on November 4, 2019 at the Banquet Hall of Daffodil International University (DIU). A total of 140 Somalian students of different private and public universities including DIU participated in the conference.
